Isaac and I were reading a poem from, "Devotions for the sandbox set" and it mentioned that God hears our prayers. He asked me if God hears his prayers and I said,"Yes!" Ithen heard a little voice say, "God...I like bowl trucks". Then he looked at me with a little smile, and said, "You think he heard me?"
Yes, he did my sweet child... and how it warms my heart that you care...Comments:Add a comment:

We have a tooth ladies and gentlemen! Our little guys first one is making an appearance. He is doing very well with it other than moaning in his sleep a bit and chewing on anything he can get his hands on. He is rolling so much and so tenacious about trying to reach things near him that it is virtually impossible to get his diaper on. He continues to be sooo sweet tempered. No crying, screaming baby here! He ALWAYS has a smile and will pretty much tolerate anything you do to him. The exception is when we clean his nose, it makes him blow raspberries like his life depends on it. Prepare for a shower anytime its nose cleaning time! He LOVES his big brother Isaac so much. Anything Isaac does makes Matthew laugh hysterically. Matthew's eyes follow Isaac around the room and he desperately wants to go play with him. Isaac likes to "read" a bedtime story to Matthew and always comes up to visit when Matthew is being put to bed. (He builds a water tower while Matthew is being changed. Oneof the reasons we cant get Matthew to stay still for a diaper change - he wants to go build too! Or at least to chew on the blocks). Isaac always makes sure that Matthew has a toy in his crib to play with when he wakes up.
Isaac is doing really well too! He is maturing in so many ways. He is fully potty trained and is all about being a "big boy". He can write his name! (see a picture in the photo album for this month) and has an amazing vocabulary. Words like gigantic and scrumptious are very normal for him to say. Of course he still has a few words that he has made up that he holds on to from baby days, like:
potato chips --- fun chips
bulldozer --- bowltruck
excavator --- dig dig truck
fruit punch --- punch juice
pajamas --- goodnight clothes
all other clothes -- daytime clothes
And others I cant think of right now.
He is getting so tall too! He blew right through his 3T pants in a couple months (much to Mamas chagrin) and is now happily in 4T's He went through about a month of being obsessed with the movie "Cars". He knows every piece of major dialog by heart. It was cute to hear him talking to himself saying things like, "you dont know ALL my tricks, Rookie!"
Our big boy is a ball of energy - he NEVER slows down from the moment he races into our room usually before 7am announcing, "It's Daytime!" to nightime when he has to give a few Isaac-attacks before being put to bed.
Gosh, I'm tired just THINKING about how much he wears us out. We are truly blessed to be the parents of these boys - they are a joy!!!Comments:Add a comment:
