It is fun listening to Isaac as he develops his vocabulary. He has added several variations to his favorite word "NO!" Now he says, "Ooooh Nooo!", "Noo WAY!", "No don't" "Noo Papa" (meaning Papa isnt here) and "no no no no". He also seems to have a french accent - it is the most hilarious thing to hear him say "Mama" and "Papa" - it sounds just like he grew up in France. He's added a couple interesting words lately - Paaboo (peekaboo), baybo (elbow - though in the course of one day he stopped pointing to his elbow when he says it and now points to his wrist), cheee cheee (train), naanaa (banana) and aaannnn (pronounce in a French accent ) which means ants.
Rick will take full responsibility for this but somehow when you tell Isaac to tell someone he loves them he says "Bye!". I have no idea how this connection happened.
Isaac goes to Gymboree play classes once or twice a week. He really enjoys them , especially the bubble ttime. Last week they were doing an activity in which they were to take bean bags from a little plastic container and drop them into a bin. Most of the children dutifully picked up a beanbag at a time and dropped them into the bin. Not Isaac! He evaluated the situation, started grabbing 3-4 bean bags at a time and dropping them in. Then after further thought, he picked up the entire plastic container and dumped the entire contents in the bin! We were all very amused. One woman commented that Isaac will probably become an engineer because of his problem-solving abilities.Comments:Add a comment:
