This moment just melted my heart...
I went into Isaac's room after Rick had put him to bed to see if he wanted the rest of his milk. When I walked in he stood up in his crib, bringing Tony (his favorite stuffed animal) and his blanket with him. "Papa?" he inquired, since he couldn't see who had come in. "No, honey, it's Mama.." I picked him up and he snuggled into my lap and drank the rest of his milk. When he was done I just sat there hugging him for a moment, and whispered to him this blessing found in Numbers. "The Lord bless you and keep you, the Lord make His face to shine upon you and be gracious unto you, the Lord lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace..." And out of the darkness, I heard his little voice whisper back, Amen...amen.."Comments:Add a comment:

Gosh it seems like there is so much to catch up on since we moved to TX. Our little boy has just blossomed here in the warm weather and wide open spaces and is truly our Caribbean Cowboy! (Now if we could just get him to wear a hat on his head!)
He absolutely loves being outside. When we first got here he would grab his ball first thing in the morning and go stand by the door. Now, he tries to open the door himself and demands to be taken outside! His favorite thing to do outside is look for bugs (he is his mothers child), search for airplanes flying in to DFW, and slide down his slide. Today, he learned how to catch a ball pretty well too!
His favorite word is "NO". When he first wakes up he doesnt want anyone to look at him. He will shake his head "no" if you happen to gaze at him too long. And heaven forbid a stranger looks at him in the store. "no!". But then he'll smile at you and melt your heart and it will be time to be friends again.Comments:Add a comment:
