How fast can you run with your eyes closed? Well, our beloved son - who we still think is college material - has taken this up as his latest hobby. So far he hasnt run into anything really hard, but he thinks this is an absolutely hilarious pastime. If you hear your phone ring and only hear garbled noise on the other end, it's probably Isaac fooling around with our cell phone. He is on a button pushing frenzy and often manages to make a call. OK, so you might not think it is funny, but we think it is awfully cute! Isaac is also proficient at putting tapes in the VCR, locking and turning on the dishwasher and turning the stove off (yes, we are working on changing that habit!) He has begun pointing to his nose when you ask him where it is and is able to follow simple commands like, "bring your Pooh bear to Papa". It is an entirely different reaction though, if you say, "Bring the phone to Papa!"
Our family just got back from our first vacation to Orlando. It was very relaxing and a lot of fun. We visited Sea World and Isaac seemed to enjoy himself. He mostly loved charming all the ladies to smile at him. He loves water and had a good time at the pool. He was even trying to get in the water when we went to a beach whose waves were already crashing with the approaching hurricane.
So, in 2 weeks our tiny little "Teeder" is turning one...I'm getting misty just thinking about it. Where has the time gone...
