Little could we have known it, but Isaac is very aptly named. Isaac means laughter - and he couldnt have a more fitting name. His laugh is very distinctive and contagious. He laughs often and loud, and life generally amuses him. It's kind of a "hehhehheheh" done quickly and uproarously. It is really delightful to hear him being so joyful.
We figure if our name choices are so prophetic, we'll have to name our next child whatever name means "naps a lot"!!!Comments:Add a comment:

FIRST WORD!!! HE SAID HIS FIRST WORD TODAY!!! THIS IS A BANNER DAY IN THE KLEIN HOUSEHOLD!!
OK, guess what the word was? Well, as he was crawling across the floor I called to him. "Isaac!" and he looked up at me and said "Isaac!" and kept on crawling. It was as plain as day. I was too flabbergasted to react, cuz I know the reaction I wanted to have was to start jumping and screaming (He would probably never speak again :-)
Now I am waiting quite impatiently for Mama (sigh)

I haven't sat down in a month. Mostly because...neither has Isaac. He is in 5th gear crawling all over the place. He has opened every door and especially likes banging cabinet doors. He lets go for a couple seconds at a time, so I wouldnt be surprised if walking was on the horizon.
Also we have 2 toofers!! They were painful coming out - he was just miserable for a couple weeks but now they are here and just darling - just perfect for crunching cheerios!
On a recent trip to NJ, Isaac, granmummy and cousin Kerry were sitting in the back. We decided to stop for some McDonalds. Well, Isaac threw a fit when he saw the french fries and wouldnt give in till we fed him a few. We did have to draw the line when he demanded soda though ;-)
