Eskimo kisses, Chopper rides and Megasaucers: these are a few of Isaac's favorite things. He will actually try to lift himself from a semi-reclined position in order to get an eskimo kiss. He also loves it when Papa says, "I'm gonna chopper you outa here son," and then proceeds to make helicopter noises and "flies" him out of the room. Then there is his new toy, the megasaucer. He is a little young for it so he only gets 5 minutes twice a day, but he loves it!!! See the pictures to truly appreciate the intense look on his face as he plays with each toy. He will actually cry when he is taken out.

Isaac is laughing!! Really laughing! Yesterday we were playing airplane. (I was lying on my back with my knees drawn up and he laid on my shins). I figured this would be a good time to do crunches too. Well, as I counted and brought my head up, he started laughing hysterically. Come to think of it I must have looked pretty ridiculous trying to do my first situps in over a year!! The laughs got louder with each situp and that inspired me to keep going - but the old out of use muscles could only last for 30. Maybe he'll laugh at me doing aerobics - I'll be in shape in no time at all!!

Just like the grinch, our hearts have grown many sizes larger since this little one came into our lives. I really understand the phrase "my heart feels like it would burst with love". He is truly fearfully and wonderfully made. The Lord is good. When I think about how this beautiful child who smiles at me is the end result of two tiny cells, I can even more boldly say, "Evolution Shmevolution". (And this is coming from someone with a degree in Biology!) Praise the Lord for his marvelous works!

Isaac has decided that he hates bathtime! He had never LOVED it, but now it has become the most awful thing on earth. We will have to come up with some creative solutions to make this a tolerable thing --I mean he will have to do this everyday or so!! :-) Got any ideas for us?
